Taking place recently at the St Regis Hotel Bangkok, two prestigious institutions of higher learning came together to discuss the unique opportunities for students to earn internationally recognised degrees in Thailand. Since joining forces in September of 2016, RIC has been providing local teaching support for programmes offered by the University of London (UOL) International Programmes. Key stakeholders and representatives from both institutions were on hand for an informative and in-depth discussion and group interview. Topics covered included “Benefits of a UOL degree in Thailand”, “UOL Programmes offered in Thailand”, “Perspective of international education in Thailand and the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)” as well as “UOL support for developing Thailand education to international standards”. Qualifying students are now able to study for a prestigious University of London (UOL) qualification in Thailand which is recognised internationally. Subjects offered include courses in Philosophy, History and English as well as Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM), Accounting, Finance, Economics, International Relations and Applied Educational Leadership and Management courses.
