TrueMove H Demonstrates Video Call on 5G Smartphone for the First Time in Thailand

by deployment of 5G technology on 3.5-GHz spectrum at 5G testing
site in Thanyaburi, Pathumthani.

Mr. Jirachai Kunakorn (left), True Group’s Chief Network Operations Officer, and Mr. Khanungdej Triratupathum (right), Director, Network Engineering & Quality Assurance, jointly demonstrated 5G Video Call using a 5G smartphone Huawei Mate 20X* for the first time in Thailand, which turned out ultimately successful both in terms of voice and video signal quality of HD – 4K level. It was also the first time that a test of satellite signal interference possibly caused by deployment of 5G technology on 3.5-GHz frequency was carried out as per permission by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission at the 5G Testing Site in Thanayburi District of Pathumthani.
