True Group’s Innovators Proudly Present “CoW on Fly” and “COFY Robot”, Winning Six Innovation Awards from IIDC 2018 in Hong Kong
True Corporation Plc, led by Mr. Adisak Prasongsub (3rd from right), Chief Network Operation Officer and Dr. Teerapon Tanomsakyut (3rd from left), Chief Innovation and Sustainability Officer, together with innovator teams from Network Engineering & Operations Department as well as True Innovation shared their pride on the occasion that True Group has been recognized continuously for its innovation excellence on international stages. True Group received six awards from the International Invention & Design Competition 2018 (IIDC 2018), held in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. The event was organized by the Chinese Innovation and Invention Society (CIIS) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to gather innovators’ innovative works from around the globe as well as to further develop innovations on the international stage. This year, over 100 innovations from 12 countries worldwide were submitted for the competition.
Thailand’s inventive works were selected by the Association of Thai Innovation and Invention Promotion (ATIP). True Group won six awards for its two innovations in the following categories;
CoW on Fly (CoW : Cell on Wheels) – The Emergency Network Service System via Drone received four awards comprising;
1. Gold Trophy from IIDC 2018 Hong Kong
2. Gold Medal from IIDC 2018 Hong Kong
3. The Best Invention 2018 from JSC NIIAS
4. The INNOPA Innovation Award from the Indonesian Invention and Innovation Promotion Association
COFY – The Automatic Service Robot in Café received two awards comprising :
1. Gold Trophy from IIDC 2018 Hong Kong
2. Gold Medal from IIDC 2018 Hong Kong
The awards emphasize True Group’s potential and intention to create innovations that continuously provide values to the society, bringing pride and recognition to Thailand in the international level as well as creating an invention model for the society and environment for many countries around the globe.
