TRUE GROUP RANKED NO.1 AS THE TOP GOLD DJSI SUSTAINABILITY ORGANIZATION, THE ONLY ONE OF ITS KIND IN GLOBAL TELECOMMUNICATION INDUSTRY
True Corporation Plc, led by Dr. Teerapon Tanomsakyut (center), Chief Innovation and Sustainability Officer, together with the team from True Innovation and Sustainability Center shared their pride on the occasion that True Group was included in the Top Gold Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) list, the only organization from the telecommunications business segment across the World. This was announced in the Sustainability Yearbook 2019 under the brand “SAM”, which was conducted by the RobecoSAM, Switzerland’s international investment company with a specific focus on sustainability investments. RobecoSAM ranked members in each business segment to be part of the 2018 DJSI worldwide, based on their achievement of excellent sustainability performance in three dimensions: Society, Environment and Good Corporate Governance. True Group was selected to be a member of the global DJSI sustainability index for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018. Moreover, True Group received last year the highest score in the world in the category of telecommunications industry in the emerging market group.
This success emphasizes True Group’s will to manage its businesses by focusing on sustainability in all dimensions, including corporate social responsibility, cares for environmental impacts as well as being opened for ideas and supports from all groups of stakeholders.
