THAI Smile Airways offers direct flights to India

Charita Leelayudth, Chief Executive Officer, THAI Smile Airways Co,. Ltd said that THAI Smile is continuously expanding its routes to India and now offers 38 weekly flights to seven cities in 2019, namely Gaya, Varanasi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata and now Ahmedabad. We have enjoyed growth of both inbound and outbound passengers leading to an increased cabin factor on every route. In some periods this year, the number rose to more than 85 per cent. Overall, THAI Smile has seen growth of around 20 per cent on its Indian routes reflecting the increase in Indian tourists who choose Thailand as their destination. Passengers fall into many categories and include businessmen, tourists, Indians with family in Thailand as well as Indian couples who choose Thailand for their wedding and honeymoon. In the meantime, many cities in India to which THAI Smile flies are attracting the new generation of Thai tourists who are interested in new destinations, resulting in a rise in the number of Thais flying to India with THAI Smile.

THAI Smile operates direct flight from Bangkok to seven cities in India with aircraft, Airbus A320-200 with 12 seats in Smile Plus (premium economy) and 150/156 in Smile Class (economy) with full services. Passengers will enjoy excellent service and quality Indian food and drinks. and maximum free luggage allowance of 40 kg for Smile Plus passengers and 30 kg for Smile Class passengers.
