Every year the Bangkok International Rugby Tens attract rugby fans from around the world to participate in a weekend of fun and games in the heart of Bangkok. With over 5,000 attendees and more money raised than in any previous year, the 2017 Tens went above and beyond the organizers’ expectations.
All funds will be donated to the Nak Suu children’s’ charity which was founded by the event organizer, Eddie Evans, himself a veteran rugby player. The charity organization provides children in Bangkok’s slums with free rugby training and helps them develop important life skills and values, giving them the chance to make a positive change in their lives.
This year’s champions, the Singapore Barbarians, beat the New Zealand legends in an exhilarating final game. After their victory, they spent the evening celebrating together with the other teams and the event’s generous sponsors.
