InterContinental Bangkok has been recognised at the 26th annual World Travel Awards as Asia’s Leading City Hotel 2019, Thailand’s Leading Hotel 2019 and Thailand’s Leading Business Hotel 2019.
All three awards were presented in a glamorous star-studded gala ceremony held at Phú Quốc on 12 October 2019. Hundreds of top travel industry professionals were in attendance to witness the memorable award presentation.
Situated at the heart of the Ratchaprasong area, Bangkok’s prime business and commercial district, InterContinental Bangkok is one of the city’s most recognised hotels, with 37 floors offering 381 elegantly designed guestrooms and suites each with panoramic views over the city.
The entrance to the BTS Skytrain Chit Lom station is located directly outside the hotel, providing convenient access to Bangkok’s major attractions. The hotel also links directly to the Skywalk, which provides covered access on foot to the shopping and dining attractions of Ratchaprasong Square, Siam Square, and via its new extension, Pratunam.

The gala ceremonies are regarded as milestone events in the industry calendar, and are attended by senior executives from major travel companies, operators and destinations all over the world.
