The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) by Dr. Katiya Greigarn, Chairman of The Committee of Industry 4.0 in collaboration with Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. by Mr. Hsieh Shen-yen, President, presided over the opening of seminar on “Technology and Innovation in Developing Industry 4.0” for System Integrators (SIs) and Industrial Service Providers (ISPs) at Delta’s headquarter.The event aimed to discuss and share information with SIs and ISPs on new breakthrough in cloud automation solution, smart manufacturing, smart machine and smart green factory for factory modernization to uplift both quality and productivity in the era of Industry 4.0.
A highlight from the session has identified that in developing Thailand’s industry to Industry 4.0 level, Thailand is deemed to have insufficient supply of ISPs from five groups, namely, the suppliers, consultants, System Integretors, builders and program developers. There is high demand especially for SIs whose services are needed in rendering comprehensive services to various industries. System Integretors’ roles include installation of a new set up from design to hardware, software, networking and maintenance aspects.
