Warm days encourage guests to explore Chiang Mai’s ancient temples and local markets for last minute gift ideas or laze by the pool; but as night draws in and temperatures drop, guests can start the festive merriment with a magnificent Christmas Eve Dinner at The Restaurant. Anantara’s award-winning chefs have created dishes from around the world including Indian Schezwan, Japanese and Thai favourites alongside traditional Christmas fare. Anantara’s Christmas Eve dinner is THB 2500 net with free flow house wine, local beer and soft drink and children under 11 are free.

Merry Christmas, Chiang Mai Style

The festivities continue on Christmas Day as a festive brunch awaits guests by the banks of the Ping River. Feast on traditional roast turkey with apricot and onion stuffing, legs of lamb with red wine pomegranate jus and Beef Wellingtons paired with roast potatoes, cheesy cauliflower and brussel sprouts with chestnuts, bacon and garlic. Desserts include traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce. Children rejoice with stunning gingerbread houses, chocolate Santa and edible Christmas trees. All you can eat Christmas Day Brunch including free flow house wine, local beer and soft drinks is THB 2900 net per person and as a special Christmas treat children under 11 eat for free.

Dance in the New Year

It’s time to say farewell to the last day of 2020 with a spectacular culinary celebration. As guests savour a mouthwatering banquet they can also watch the enchanting performance of Chiang Mai’s most famous dancer, Waewdao Sirisook. By showcasing Lanna culture through dance, Khun Waewdao has won local and international recognition through multiple awards, grants and fellowships. Guests can also dance the night away with live music entertainment from The Voice Season 2 singer, Fangkao Nuttcha. Dance in the New Year for THB 5500 net per person – children under 11 are free.
