Emma d’Humières
Dancer: Quadrille Paris Opera Ballet
Native of France, Emma d’Humières is one of the most promising talents of the Paris Opera Ballet.
In 2001, she integrated the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet School; where she studied principally under the guidance of Elisabeth Maurin and Carole Arbo. With the school she participated at the 2010 tour in Japan, in Tokyo and Osaka.
The same year, Emma was given her first promotion and joined the Paris Opera Ballet.
Her repertoire with the company includes works by: Rudolf Nureyev, Frederick Ashton, John Neumeier, Serge Lifar, Maurice Béjart and Pierre Lacotte. And she was a part of Wayne McGregor’s first creation for the Paris Opera Ballet L’Anatomie de la sensation. She also performed soloist roles such as the Queen of the Morphides in John Taras Piège de Lumières, Lady Capulet in Sasha Waltz Romeo and Juliet, the pas de trois in Ivan Clustine Suite de Danses, Victor Gsovsky’s Grand Pas Classique, Joseph Lazzini’s Cantadagio and one of the soloists in Jean-Guillaume Bart’s Péchés de Jeunesse.
She was invited to dance for several galas and festivals around the world; in particular in Buenos Aires – Argentina, in Cannes and Neuilly – France and in Tokyo – Japan.
In 2010, Emma was the recipient of the Prix Jeune Espoir du Ballet National de Paris honour given to the most promising dancer of the Paris Opera Ballet.
Bernard Courtot de Bouteiller
Dancer: Former Paris Opera Ballet Principal
Bernard was born in Provence, France. As a Principal Dancer, he enjoyed a very successful international career, dancing on the grandest stages for many companies such as San Francisco Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet, Miami City Ballet, English National Ballet, Ballet de Santiago, Slovenian National Ballet, Scottish Ballet, Prague National Ballet and Alberta Ballet. Bernard danced many roles of the repertoire; allowing him to approach works by numerous choreographers like Jerome Robbins, Maurice Béjart, George Balanchine, Rudolf Nureyev, William Forsythe, Marius Petipa, Lev Ivanov, Auguste Bournonville, Arthur Saint-Léon, Frederick Asthon, Serge Lifar, John Neumeier, Mikhail Fokine, Roland Petit, Claude Brumachon, Peter Wright, Ronald Hynd, Vaslav Nijinsky, Flemming Flindt, Harald Lander, Ben Stevenson, Mark Morris and Jean Grand-Maître. In 1993 he was the recipient of the Gold Medal, the Nureyev Prize and the public choice award at the 7th Moscow International Ballet Competition. He also received the first prize of the Paris National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance. Where he studied ballet under the guidance of the master teacher Attilio Labis, and choreography with Christine Gerard, Bernard’s choreographic works have been enjoyed internationally and produced in particular by: the Royal Danish Ballet, English National Ballet, Ballet de Santiago and London Ballet Central.
He also participated at many tours, guest and festivals and he has been the artistic director of several dance galas worldwide.
Sarawanee Tanatanit
Dancer,Choreographer: Le Ballet du Grand Theatre de Genève
Born in Thailand, she was trained as a rhythmic gymnast before she pursued her dancing career. She joined the Rhythmic Gymnastics National team of Thailand at the age of 13. At the same time she started her ballet training at Dance Centre ballet school and Varaporn & Kanjana Schools before transferring to the Goh Ballet Academy in Vancouver, Canada in 1996. In 1999, she was a finalist in the Asia Pacific International Ballet Competition in Tokyo, and was awarded the Royal Academy of Dancing Solo Seal. She had sent her to join American Ballet Theatre Studio Company in New York City in the same year. She became a member of the American Ballet Theatre in 2003.
She was named one of Dance Magazine’s “Top 25 to Watch” in 2008.
She is currently dancing with Grand Theatre Ballet de Genève in Switzerland.
She performed European emerging contemporary dance “Reflex” and “Closer” in BCB Contemporary Performance in December 2010 and showed her high level technique. Also her choreography “Three to one…” choreographed for BCB dancers, was well received and exerted much influence to BCB dancers.
Nathanael Marie
Dancer,Choreographer: Le Ballet du Grand Theatre de Genève
Born in 1980 in France. He graduated from BAC Technique Musique et Dance a L’ecole de Cannes Rosella Hightower, in South of France. In 2001, he joined the Theatre National de Manheim in Germany where he developed his artistry and skills working among many repertories of neo-classical and contemporary. He entered the Ballet d’Europe under the directorship of Jean-Charles Gil in 2003. He was invited as a guest artist to perform several occasions with Ballet National de Marseille which later led him to join the company as a soloist dancer and choreographer in the following year. He had numerous outstanding choreographic works created on him during his career while developing his talent working with music and choreography combining his training of break dance and kung fu.
In 2008, he created his own company called “Deuzxieme Vage” which he directed and choreographed numerous works, had toured in many festivals in South of France. During this period, he also organized the young choreographic evening in his hometown. And he premiered his first full-length production, “El Amor Brujo“, for the L’opera de Nice in 2008, and he choreographed for the famous French singer Roberto Alagnia in 2010. He is currently dancing with Grand Theatre Ballet de Genève in Switzerland directed by Philippe Cohen, alongside with committing to his own creativities and projects.
He will choreograph for BCB dancers for this August Dance Performance.

Guest Ballet Master
Miroslav Misha Birmančev Bart
CEO and Founding Artistic Director of Misha Bart Ballet Foundation
A native of Yugoslavia.
Internationally renowned Ballet Master, Master Teacher and Choreographer, Misha Bart has taught, staged, and choreographed classical ballets on six continents. In 2002 Mr. Bart was invited to work and was appointed permanent Ballet Master/Repetiteur at The Bolshoi Ballet im. A. Navoi Tashkent, Central Asia Государственный Академический Большой Театр, where he spent almost two seasons 2002/2003/2004. There he coached principal dancers for all of their debuts and performances and working closely with Artistic Director Mr. Ibragim Yusupov.
Misha began ballet training at the age of 9 and started dancing professionally at the age of 15 showing amazing talent, maturity and dedication while still at the school as the youngest Corps De Ballet member with Slovenian National Theatre in Ljubljana, Slovenia. During his school years, he was very fortunate to study under exceptional teachers such as Boris Subotic, Radmila Teodorovic.
As a professional ballet dancer, Mr. Bart went through Corps de Ballet to Soloist ranks. As a soloist, he danced all traditional classical ballet repertoires and was very fortunate to work with great choreographers such as Andre Prokovsky, Henrik Neubauer, Milenko Stambuk. His last engagement as Ballet Dancer was with PACT Ballet in Pretoria, South Africa.
In 1992, following an injury, Mr. Bart began teaching at Technicon Pretoria Ballet School upon accepting an invitation from Vicki Karras, former ballerina with Royal Ballet in London and since then, his teaching career has taken him to worldwide.
As choreographer Mr. Bart has staged many of the XIX century traditional Classical Ballet productions. He has also choreographed a number of original works: Othello Duet, Carnival of the Animals, Dracula, Paganini etc.
During twenty years he has had the pleasure of working with many outstanding artists such as Cecilia Kerche, Aydar Akhmetov, Andreza Randisek.
Mr. Bart has appeared in motion pictures as an actor, produced by VIBA FILMS – Ljubljana-Slovenia. He also starred as a ballet dancer in Show Fantastico on RAI – Italian television.
