The World restaurant welcomes you to Austria, right in the heart of Bangkok, this Feb 21 – March 03

When it comes to international dining, The World restaurant in central Bangkok likes to keep things fun and exciting – that’s why our themed buffets are always changing, with a focus on new countries every month.
From 21 February 2019, our attention turns to Austria, a country famous for its towering mountains, majestic lakes, classical architecture and a cuisine that promises a tasty blend of Central European flavors and diverse cooking styles.
Running until 03 March (giving you 11 days to book your table), guests can expect a wide assortment of imported cold cuts, fish, hearty soups, premium sausages, delicate pastries, special cooked-to-order dishes and plenty of indulgent cakes.
Look out for our chef’s specials of:
• Lachsforellen mariniert (a cold appetizer of marinated dill salmon with mustard dressing);
• Geräucherte Forellen and aal (smoked trout and eel fillet with horseradish cream);
• Getrüffeltes Vulcanofilet mit Spargel (vulcano truffle pork filet with asparagus);
• Rindsgulyas (braised beef goulash);
• Gebratener Zander “Zigeunerart” (pan-fried pike perch with bell pepper stew);
• Spatzle (Nockerl) (Viennese butter dumplings)
This all-you-can-eat buffet can be enjoyed either as lunch (THB 850++ per person, food only), or as dinner (THB 1,690++ including beverage package). The World is also running two Austrian-themed Sunday brunches as part of this food festival on 24 Feb and 03 March (THB 1,890++ including beverage package).
