1:00 pm Sand pagoda presentation to nine temples in Chiang Saen

Wednesday 15th April
9:00 am Blessing at the spirit houses, built to honour the spirits of the land
10:30 am Monk blessing ceremony at the Elephant Bar

Saturday 18th April
1:00 pm Chiang Saen street parade
Be prepared to get wet as the streets come alive with locals celebrating the New Year with the customary throwing of water
