Kata Group President Gifts ‘Achariya Fund’ Scholarships for Employees’ Children Who Excel

Phuket – Pramookpisitt Achariyachai, President of Kata Group Resorts Thailand, a leading hotel management company, recently hosted a ceremony presenting “Achariya Fund (Excellent Student Fund)” scholarship certificates to employees’ children. Scholarships totaling half a million Baht were given to 88 students who excel in their studies. The generous funding was gifted at an event on the Kata Group president’s birthday on August 11, 2016, and held at Kanda Hall, at Kata Beach Resort & Spa, in Phuket.

The “Achariya Fund” was founded by Pramookpisitt along with Kata Group Vice President Tunyaratt Achariyachai. The scholarship is part of Kata Group’s mission to, “pay it forward and give back to society”. The scholarships represent doing good and symbolize a gift to Thailand’s Queen Sirikit for her birthday which was celebrated across the Kingdom on August 12, 2016.
